Marcus Mosiah Garvey named the principle in his generation as “Africa for the Africans, those at home and those abroad.” The Conclave restores the endonym Garvey was working toward but did not have available: Alkebulan — Mother of Mankind — the name the ancestors gave the continent before the Roman.

The Honored Conclave is the beginning of a Decentralized Autonomous Organization — owned and operated by its credentialed members, not by any state, corporation, or platform. Its purpose is to govern and operate the sovereign infrastructure the ancestors are owed: provision, treasury, council, ground, inheritance, care, and convocation — by our own hands, across continent and diaspora.
Petitioning is the founding act. Those whose petitions are sealed in this period stand among the founding cohort — the descendants who ratify the Charter and open the room at the first Convocation.
